Cosm is an integrated collection of externals and abstractions to assist the construction of navigable, sonified virtual worlds using Max/MSP/Jitter. Cosm has been designed to require only minimal changes to existing Max/MSP/Jitter patches to support a number of features valuable in the creation of virtual worlds.
jit.gl.lua integrates Lua scripting with Jitter OpenGL processing. jit.gl.lua has full access to Jitter 3D functionality, including low-level utility functions. There are also built-in bindings to nearly all of the low-level OpenGL functions for direct scripting of OpenGL within Jitter. The functionality of jit.gl.lua can be extended with the Lua module system, so other libraries such as physics simulators, OpenGL gui toolkits, etc. can easily be accessed.
The xray.jit objects were created to extend the functionality of Cycling '74's Jitter. The xray.jit objects include various ways to filter, extract, and analyze data from Jitter matrices, geometric manipulations, video processing, and physical simulation.
